I can't ebeliev it! 2009 has just begun and already one of my goals has been reached!
My goals are:
1: Write and finish a whole novel. I don't care what it is about aslong as I finish it, LOL.
2: Become a monthly paid writter.
3: Enter my first horse show.
4: MOVE!!
5: Win my first horse show
6: Become a paid writter (DONE!! YAHOOO)
7: Become more organized (Almost there)
Well, one of them has already happened!
I had written an article in November that was published this month in the Northwest Horse Source.
It was about the first few hourse of a newborn foals life.
I got two suprises out of it!
1: It is the cover story!
2: My editor suprised me by telling me I'm getting paid for writting it!!
I was so excited! I had never expected it!
She mailed a check and I'm still waiting for it but I still can't believe it!
If you 'd like to see my article, please go here:

So I've set a new goal of becoming a monthly paid writer by 2010, and I think I know who I'm going to ask.
LOL
I won't say who yet, but if I do write for them, I'll let you all know.
I don't think I'm going to be able to enter a horse show this year, because I've fouind out that I need to be a member of some clubs frist and have a sporting liscence.
So I think I'm going to enter in a few Gymkana's first! They are still fun but not as strict or uptight and you don't have to look 100% percent to compete!
It's raining right now and all the horses are standing out it the rain (HUH? They have a huge stall! yet they want to get wet? I'll never unbderstand horses!)
They have one big maple tree in the pasture where they all gather around it and eat the bark off.
It's like at an office where all the workers gether around the water cooler, or stand outside for a smoke, well, our horses gather around the tree!
It's hilarious! Then they all line up and walk on circle around the whole pasture, stand around for a few mins then go back to the tree!
I've been really wanting to ride the horses lately, I'm feeling really cooped up, and I'm sure the horses want to get out of their paddocks too!
I can't thouhg, it's wet, and icy and rainy! If only we had a nice big indoor riding arena with heat! I'll definatly have one when I build my English Riding Stables!
I've been wanting to work with Mina and jumping, but I don't think that will happen till at least March!
I've been working hard this past week since school started to get all my school books finished by the end of the school year, so I can graduate.
So far I'm doing 15-35 pages of math a day and 2-4 pages of cursive writting a day then I do my horse studies and sometimes history.
I'm going to make this my last year of school if it kills me! :-P
When I graduate, I'm going to start my horse trainers courses and hopefully become certafied, or close to it, by next summer or so.
I'm going to be taking some more online courses in the mean time, such as "Preparing Your Next Champion Horse" and other training courses.
I'd really like to find a collage after we move that has day courses for about 2 weeks or so that gives you hands on experience with horse training etc.
I find I'd learn more then just doing it online, cause then I have a horse right in front of me a teacher to help.
I've decided that I'm not going to pursue my dream of becomg a best selling author.
I've decided that one day I'm going to be a well paid writter for the biggest horse magazine out there!
I still have to find out what that magazine is, but I'm working on it!
I'd also love to publish a horse care book.
One thing I found fusturating about getting into horses was, most of the questons I had, the answers were not in any books.
So I'm going to write a book for new or soon-to-be hrose owners that has EVERYTHING they need to know about horses/care etc.
I've got a couple more goals I've set for this year:
1: Become a more Godly Woman.
2: Read the ENTIRE Bible, cover-to-cover.
3: Keep the kitchen 100% clean at ALL times!
4: Write in here EVERY DAY!!
I've got some stuff to do, But I'll TRY TRY TRY to write more tomorrow!
