Patches arrived home safe and sound today not 15 mins after we got home from swimming at the beach.
Unfortunately, she used to weigh 11 lb's and she's now down to 6 lb's and almost every bone is her body is visible and pops out, but that will be fixed with a few good days of food.
I'm just so glad to have her home.
When she first got home, she was purring like CRAZY!!!
She's REALLY tired, So she'll proubably be speeling for like, 3 days!!
Well, Thanks to all of you that prayed with me for her safe arrival home.
She is now going to become an indoor cat.
We're going to get her a litter box and if she wants to spend time outside, she can spend a few hours on our top deck.
This may sound mean or inhumane to take an outdoor cat and suddenly turn them into an indoor cat, but I just can't stand having her disappear like this.
She did this two years ago too.
She was only gone for 1 and a half weeks that time though.
This time I had not seen her for two and a half weeks!!!
I really missed her and I began to get worried that she may not get home in time for us to move (Not that that will be anytime soon! DARN!!)
She's sleeping peacefully right now after she devoured a whole bowl of cat food!!
Another reason we're turning her into an indoor cat is she is 10 (almost 11) years old and if she has
Alzheimer’s or memory/sight/hearing problems, it will be harder for her to get home each time.Oh well, at least she's home now.
I'm not going to post any more tonight, I'm melting into a puddle right now.
I’ll post again soon
